Experience Denmark

Once we were brutal Vikings. Now we are one of the world’s most peaceful societies.

Location

Denmark is located in Northern Europe between the North Sea and the Baltic. Denmark also includes the Faroe Islands and Greenland in the North Atlantic

Climate

Denmark has a distinctly coastal climate, with mild, damp winters and cool, unsettled summers. However, the weather in Denmark is greatly affected by the proximity of both the sea and the continent.

Terrain

The local terrain is generally flat with a few gently rolling plains

Currency

Denmark uses DKK (Danish Krone) as their currency.

Credit Cards and ATMs

All major credit cards are accepted throughout the country. You’ll have no issue finding an ATM if you want some paper money. They’re often located near banks and in shopping malls.

Plugs

The power plugs and sockets in Denmark are of type F. The standard voltage is 230 V, with 50 Hz as normal. 5StarTip🌟: You will need to bring a converter if you are traveling from the US.  I recommend buying a universal adapter (make sure it has surge protection) and using a converter for hairdryers and hot tools.

Safety

Denmark is the second safest country in the world. But the normal applies here also. Beware of pickpockets and lock your cars, do not use your belongings unattended, and so on. Streets are generally safe and people are very helpful.
